This breed is usually short-haired, but sometimes long-haired kittens are born. These animals are rather large and reach above 15 pounds in weight. There are two color variations in the breed: traditional tabby that looks like those of wild felines and snow.

Both variations can be spotted or marbled. Recently, there appeared many new colors of these animals, but not all of them are accepted. Black and blue coats cannot be accepted.
