If you are ready to adopt a dog of this breed, the first step to take is to fill out an application form. View the list of available dogs to see if there is a dog you are interested in adopting. If there is no dog available that is a match with you, make a list of requirements and wait until volunteers locate such a dog for you. If your application form is approved, a home visit will be scheduled. A volunteer will evaluate the household conditions, which you can provide for your future pet, and will ask you a number of questions concerning your ability to properly care for an adoptee.
