Minature Beagle

It is possible to find a minature beagle at a rescue and see photos. The dogs of this breed come in three color patterns, and may be orange and white, red and white, and lemon and white. The coat lies closely to the body and does not require much grooming. It is recommended to brush the dog with a bristle brush and bathe it when necessary. The dog stands at about 13-16 inches at the shoulder and weighs from 20 to 25 pounds. Females are smaller than males. There are two groups: dogs that are over 13 inches high and those that are less than 13 inches. The dogs of this breed excel in agility, tracking, and other canine sports, but are not good at obedience. It is possible to find a minature beagle at a rescue and see photos.

Also called English Beagle.

It is very important to teach young hound pups basic doggy rules. Socialization is very important with this breed. Young dogs are very active and adore playing chase and other games. They enjoy playing with children for hours, but should not be trusted with small kids, because they may hurt a child. It is quite natural for pups to bite and chew things. However, if you do not want to see these habits in your adult dog, apply firm but fair teaching methods. Hunting instincts are very strong in this breed, but with consistent training, they may be suppressed. It is possible to find a minature beagle at a rescue and see photos.
