Beagle Rescue Texas
Like any beagle rescue, Texas rescue has few puppies for adoption, so you may be offered an adult dog.
This is a non-profit corporation, which takes the dogs of this breed from abusive or neglectful situations and tries to find new forever homes for them. The organization is actually a small group of volunteers who foster dogs in their homes and take care of them till the time when new suitable homes are found for them. Abandoned dogs often have behavior problems and need rehabilitation and basic training. In most cases, rescuing needy canines means literally saving these dogs from euthanasia. There are many inexperienced owners who cannot deal with such active and intelligent dogs and think that nothing can be done with their pets.

These dogs can be kept in an apartment only if they receive enough exercise outdoors. Having an opportunity to play with children or other dogs in the fenced yard is ideal for them.
