Hello, I am not sure if I am posting this in the right section. I am new here and I am trying to help my sister out. She has a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier(as sweet as pie and adorable)
Well she recently came home and after she let him out he came in and after a while he was dragging his back legs. She doesn't know how it happened, but all the vets and specialist she has been too say, it sounds like a possbile slipped disc. The doctor is saying the best thing is surgery and that would cost $3000. Now this is after x-rays and blood tests. They wanted to take a MRI, but it costs $2000 just for that and my sister is not in that good of a financial position at this time.(who is with the economy)
She lives in Florida, near the Daytona area and I was wondering if anyone could give me/her some where to start, like a surgeon and if anyone knows of any organizations that can lend or donate for this poor boy. I also told her about credit care and she is going to look into that.
Thank you
