These dogs have the head of a Bloodhound and the body of a Dachshund. They are very cute short-legged dogs, quite heavy in bone, in comparison with other breeds of this size. They might seem humorous looking, however, all parts of their body are functional and serve as an aid in tracking and holding the scent.
