The basset hound rescue tristate clubs are run by breeders and will usually have a photo of any available dogs.
This is an organization that takes care of the dogs in need and tries to find new homes for them. Until new loving families are found, the needy dogs are provided with necessary veterinary care, which includes spaying or neutering. Some of the dogs have been abandoned by their previous owners and some have been lost.
