Russian Bear Schnauzers are not aggressive, they have a strong and balanced temperament. Males are usually very competitive and are jealous of other big dominant dogs. They however avoid fighting with none-dominant or small dogs and can easily live with cats, horses, rabbits etc.

Bred specially as a hunting and guarding companion, these dogs are easy to housebreak and do not need to be trained to accept the leash.
