I Love Alpaca
"i love alpaca" is a slogan for pictures that promote alpacan farms and their products.
These animals have been domesticated about 7000 years ago in South America and have always been associated with luxury and endurance. There exist two types of these animals – Huacaya and Suri. Both types are shorn once a year and give 3-12 lbs of fiber.

The Suri type has a long (up to 30 cm) and very fine (15-20 micron) fiber, which hang down in locks. This type is rare (only 6-7% of all population), the majority are Huacayas, whose fiber is very dense, curly, and comes in a greater variety of colors.
