Japanese Akita Dog

That is a breed of working dogs that has been found in the mountains of northern Japan and in 1931 the Japanese government announced that breed a national treasure. These are very powerful, muscular dogs with a broad head with rigid, rather small pointed ears, and a large curved tail carried over the back or curled against the flank.
