African Lion
The african lion will often go hunting during the day when their cub or baby lion is sleeping.
These beautiful animals are often called the kings of the jungle. Indeed, their power and beauty are impressive. An adult male stands about 4 feet at the shoulder. The coat of the animal is of a light brown color. Young cubs do have spots on their coats, but they tend to disappear as they grow.

One more distinctive feature of the animal is their tail that ends in a black tuft. Males have a brown mane. The only naturally-occurring species can be found in Africa nowadays.
