African grey parrots are often in a picture with another bird.
There are two sub-species called Congos and Timnehs with appearance differences manifesting in color and size. Congos are usually larger and have bright red feathers on the tail. Timnehs are darker in color with the tail being maroon and the upper mandible bone-colored.
