This small, shaggy-coated dog with a foreshortened muzzle and a pronounced stop is often called “a monkey-like” dog. Developed to be a rodent hunter, the breed is used as a loyal and affectionate family pet nowadays. Due to their hunting nature, they are not compatible with small pets.
